Charter Expectations
Now that you're interested in a guided sightfishing trip on the inshore waters of East-Central Florida, you're probably wondering what Capt. Nathaniel will have on board for your day on the water and what you will need to bring.
You can also find more in depth details about what we fish for, the manner in which we do it, etc. by visiting our FAQ page.
What’s provided at no extra cost:
Capt. Nathaniel is a professional angler who spends nearly 250 days per year on the water. This means you get a dedicated, full-time, guide who invests nearly every day on the local inshore waters to learn, pattern, and study fish, ensuring you have a first-class fishing experience. He also delivers a personal customer satisfaction guarantee.
Your Captain specializes in light tackle fishing and fly fishing. He uses and provides top-of-the-line spinning gear (Quantum rods & reels) and fly equipment (Temple Fork Outfitters & Lamson), in addition to a premium selection of artificial lures (DOA, Exude, and Berkley) and personally hand tied saltwater flies to fool even the shyest of gamefish. If so inclined, anglers may bring their own gear.
An iced cooler with bottled water and beverages are provided, as well as a digital camera to capture all your memories. Photographs will be emailed to clients at completion of trip.
Fishing licenses are not necessary, as clients are covered under the Captain's vessel fishing license.
What to bring:
First and foremost, you should bring a smile and the willingness to have some fun. But not to be forgotten, bring any food or drink you would like for the day, wear clothing that compliments the weather, a hat, non-skid shoes or more preferred sandals. Also bring your favorite set of polarized sunglasses...optimal lens colors are amber, yellow, or green.
